If your car door has a broken actuator there are a few things you can do to try and open the door. First you can try using a slim jim. This is a long thin piece of metal that you insert between the door and the frame to try and manually push the lock up. This can be tricky and you may need to use a little force to get the lock to budge.
If a slim jim doesn’t work you can try using a wire hanger. Straighten out the hanger and make a small hook at the end. Then insert the hanger into the space between the door and the frame until you feel it catch on the lock. Once you’ve caught the lock try to lift it up.
If neither of these methods work your best bet is to call a locksmith. They will have the tools and the know-how to get your door open without damaging it.
