Assuming you would like a blog post on how to buff a car:

“How to Polish Car With Buffer”

Most people don’t know how to properly buff a car. It’s not as easy as just rubbing the buffer in circular motions. You have to be careful and know the proper techniques or you could damage your car’s paint.

There are two types of buffers: rotary and dual action. A rotary buffer uses one orbit or circular motion. A dual action buffer uses both circular and eccentric or off-center orbits. Which one you use depends on the paint job. Newer cars with fresh paint jobs can be buffed with either a rotary or dual action buffer. Older cars with chipped paint should only be buffed with a dual action buffer to avoid further damage.

The first step is to choose the right polishing compound. You can get polishing compounds at any auto store. They come in different levels of aggressiveness from mild to heavy duty. You want to use a mild compound first to see how it works on your car’s paint. If it’s not enough then you can move up to a more aggressive compound.

Once you have the compound you need to apply it to the buffer. Most buffers have a built-in dispenser so you can just squirt the compound right onto the buffer. If yours doesn’t have a dispenser apply the compound to a section of the car first and then buff it in.

Start with the buffer on a low setting and gradually increase the speed as you go. Buff each section of the car for about three to five minutes before moving on to the next section. And don’t forget to buff the hard-to-reach places like the creases around the doors.

After you’re done buffing wash the car with soap and water to remove any leftover compound. Then admire your handiwork. A good buffing job will make your car’s paint look shiny and new.”
