In Transformers: Age of Extinction Bumblebee is assigned to protect Cade Yeager a human who helps the Autobots. Cade later gives Bumblebee a new vehicle mode: a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro.
In Transformers: The Last Knight Bumblebee is still assigned to protect Cade. He is damaged in battle but he is repaired by Cade’s daughter Tessa.
