There are a few ways to find out what trim your car is by looking at the registration number. The first place to look is on the V5C registration certificate in section H. This is a list of all the different types of cars that are on the market and will give you the specific trim for your car. If your car is not listed here then you can check with your local dealership or car manufacturer.
Some cars will also have their trim level listed on the back of the car. This is usually in the form of a letter or number. For example the BMW 3 Series has a “335i” badge on the back which indicates that it is the top trim level for that particular model.
If you still can’t find out what trim your car is then you can try using an online car reg lookup tool. These tools will allow you to input your registration number and will then give you a list of all the different trims that are available for your car.
