There’s something about a race car driving movie that just gets our adrenaline pumping. Whether it’s the fast-paced action the heart-pounding suspense or the edge-of-your-seat excitement we can’t help but be drawn in. And who better to star in a race car driving movie than the one and only Will Ferrell?
Ferrell is no stranger to the big screen having starred in a number of hit comedies like Anchorman Talladega Nights and Step Brothers. But he hasn’t really done much in the action genre. That is until now.
In the upcoming movie Ferrell plays a former race car driver who is brought out of retirement to take on a new challenge. The film is currently untitled but we do know that it will be directed by duo Adam McKay and Andrew Stanton.
McKay is no stranger to working with Ferrell as the two have collaborated on a number of films in the past. And Stanton who is best known for his work on Pixar’s Finding Nemo and Wall-E is no stranger to action-packed movies.
So far plot details for the film are being kept under wraps. But we do know that it will be set in the world of Formula One racing and that it will be based on a true story.
We can’t wait to see Ferrell take on the role of a race car driver. We’re sure he’s going to bring his signature brand of comedy to the role and we can’t wait to see what he does with it.
